About the company
Hefei JA Solar Technology is a wholly owned subsidiary of JA Solar that produces solar cells and modules in Hefei High-tech Zone. Set up in 2011, it was described in 2018 as JA Solar’s largest module production base. In 2022 the parent launched a RMB 4.23 billion upgrade and expansion to give the Hefei site 11 GW of high-power module capacity.
