Anhui Zhifei Longcom is the Hefei vaccine research and production base of Chongqing Zhifei Biological Products, which acquired it in 2008. With the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Microbiology it developed a recombinant protein COVID-19 vaccine that received emergency-use approval in China in March 2021, and in 2025 it launched a quadrivalent influenza vaccine. Its plants are in the Hefei High-tech Zone.
