Anhui Investment Group is the province’s state capital investment company, formed in June 1998 from the merger of three provincial investment companies. It invests in railways and highways, in emerging industries such as next-generation IT, new materials, life sciences and quantum technology, and in science parks and industrial finance. At the end of 2025 its total assets exceeded RMB 400 billion.
