About the company

The Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center was approved in January 2017 as China’s second such centre after Shanghai and is jointly built by the Anhui provincial government and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. According to its 2025 white paper, it has ten large research facilities completed or under construction, six high-level research institutes and 18 interdisciplinary research platforms.
