Strictly speaking, this is not a company. It is a network of buildings, funds and services across Hefei, set up by the province, the city and the university. The aim: keep USTC talent in Hefei and bring research to market faster. iFlytek, QuantumCTek, CIQTEK and Origin Quantum all grew out of USTC.

USTC Silicon Valley is an innovation zone set up in 2022 by Anhui province, Hefei and USTC to turn research into companies. A platform company runs it together with global partner organisations. By November 2025 it hosted more than 2,500 technology firms and over 220 equity funds worth more than 250 billion yuan. About 90% of USTC projects from its research commercialisation reform settle there.

Europe and Belgium

The valley has liaison offices abroad, including one in Paris, and is looking for European partners for research, pilots and start-ups.
