Hefei Changan Automobile is Changan Automobile’s production base in Nangang Science Park, Hefei High-tech Zone. Established in 2007, it built its first Hefei-made car in November 2011. A second phase worth RMB 3 billion, launched in 2019 for 240,000 vehicles a year, raised planned capacity to 400,000 to 500,000 units and made Hefei Changan’s most important base outside Chongqing.
