About the company

Corning Display Technology (Hefei) produces Gen 10.5 LCD glass substrates next to BOE’s plant in the Xinzhan district. Announced in 2015 with support from the Hefei government, it began mass production in May 2018, making Corning the first manufacturer worldwide to produce Gen 10.5 glass, sized 2,940 by 3,370 mm. Corning also runs automotive glass and particulate filter plants and its China logistics centre in Hefei.
