Volkswagen Anhui is Volkswagen Group’s electric-vehicle company in Hefei, owned 75% by Volkswagen and 25% by JAC. Its MEB plant in the Economic and Technological Development Area builds the export-only Cupra Tavascan and the ID. UNYX range for China, and produced its 100,000th vehicle in August 2026. VCTC, set up as Volkswagen’s largest technology centre in China, is also based in Hefei.
